Event Description:

Fancy Food Show is the largest culinary event in North America. The event happens twice a year: the winter edition which takes place in January in San Francisco, and the summer show, which takes place in New York.

The official Italian pavilion, organized by the Istituto nazionale per il commercio estero (ICE) is always the largest pavilion of the exhibition. Individual companies, regions, export consortia and chambers of commerce are all available to showcase the best of Italian wine and specialty foods under with the unique “Made in Italy” brand.

Italian producers show a wide range of specialties from traditional favorites such as olive oil, ham, pasta, cheese, coffee and wine, to innovative and interesting ones as organic honey and jams, chocolates and sweets, juices and soft drinks, canned vegetables, pate and many others.

The Italian Institute for Foreign Trade or Italian Trade Commission (ITC) is the official trade development and promotional agency of the government of Italy. It is headquartered in Rome and maintains a network of various offices in Italy, as well as offices abroad. The Institute's general mandate is to promote, assist and develop Italy's international trade with particular regard to small and medium enterprises. The Institute operates according to the directives established by the Italian Ministry for Foreign Trade.
